Do I Need a Referral?

No, a medical referral is not required unless you are claiming the treatment through Workcover. or comcare.

Workcover clients need a claim number and prior approval for Myotherapy or Remedial Massage from the Insurer. Please bring this information with you as well as the GP referral letter to your first appointment.

Comcare clients will also need a referral from their GP and prior approval from Comcare.

Private Health clients do not require a medical referral and in most cases can make on the spot claim utilising HICAPS. Please check with your Health Provider if you are covered for  Myotherapy or Remedial Massage.
